Having so many things on oGCD is where it flows best.Īs to your "need to extend No Mercy to use all their cartridges." Yeah, that shows you don't play GNB much at all. The damage is ridiculous and very easy to squeeze in. Now in this next expansion, they are adding another potential combo to extend that potency/damage for on-demand usage. It was lower damage per cartridge but it had a lot of damage potential outside of that. In comparison, you are able to pop Burst Strike on demand so long as you generate cartridges. I mean, Gnashing combo is one cartridge for 6 skills (Gnashing Fang – Continuation – Savage Claw – Continuation – Wicked Talon – Continuation) for a total potency of 2,490. Obviously the difference is one is the beginning of a combo while the other is standalone.

Burst Strike has been 500 potency while Gnashing Fang is 450. You'd use it to hit the boss like you mentioned, pull it back while using your tank mitigation, then you'd follow up with Hypervelocity. The same will be with your Burst Strike combo which is a standalone thing. I forget if Lightning Shot affects it, but not like that's a common usage once you're in a fight. So going from Gnashing Fang to Demon Slice will exit the combo. You've got 10 seconds to have to use the next skill in the combo.Ībout only things that will mess it up is if you use another combo ability. You can slip in Nebula, Rough Divide, Rampart, Danger Zone, Bow Shock, or any of those things in between. You can use most of your skills without it having a negative effect on Continuation or your Gnashing Fang combo.

Replyĭude, do you not play Gunbreaker much? Your complaints on Continuation don't make sense. They are objectively there, but nowhere as bad as most people portray them as. So personally, I think that these two issues are being blown out of proportions by most people. Maybe if I do that it will change my stance on it, maybe it won't… I'll know sooner or later. The only fight I can think of where movement with continuation currently might be a little spicy, is TEA, but that is hearing from others, as I did not attempt that fight yet, so can't judge it. If that trend continues, then continuation will only be an issue for movement on paper. And I doubt they'll put fights in that require more movement.Īnd recent raids have… been low on tank movement, mostly been placing themselves for mechs. And GF is not an issue there (or rather, was not an issue there while we didn't push her below the HP-threshold to drop the link yet). I don't remember a fight that would need quicker movement than twinny in UCoB though, between dropping a neurolink and the liquid hells right after.
